Here we are already in the beginning of another growing season. After a cool, wet, windy spring, the weather is finally settling down just in time for the bloom of the grapes.

At this critical stage, the grape flowers need calm weather as the cap is gently pushed off the top of the tiny grape to expose it for the first time. All varieties show good crop loads and excess shoots are being hand thinned leaving the best ones.

The apples and peaches also look promising with an average number of fruit per tree. Picking will start in late June, so bring the family and stay a while to picnic and tour our tasting room.
